Ozothamnus lanceolatus Buchan. in T.N.Z.I. 2, 1870, 88.

Helichrysum lanceolatum (Buchan.) Kirk Stud. Fl. 1899, 311.

Type locality: "mountains near Hokianga, Buchanan". Type: OM, "Hokianga". A similar but broader-lvd form occurs on Chatham Is.

Lvs lanceolate-apiculate, c. 3·5 × 1 cm. on petioles c. 1 cm. long; glomerules corymbosely arranged on slender to rather stout pedicels.

DIST.: North Auckland Peninsula from Hokianga to Herekino.
