Pittosporum umbellatum var. cordatum Kirk

Var. cordatum Kirk in T.N.Z.I. 4, 1872, 264.

Type locality: Haratoanga, Great Barrier Id. Type: W, Kirk.

Lvs 5-8 × 2-4 cm., narrow-obovate to obovate-spathulate, narrowed to petiole, acute. Capsules c. 1 cm. diam., subcordate; valves granulate, with very shallow or no median furrow; style base prominent.
