Var. stellata Allan in T.R.S.N.Z. 76, 1947, 593.

Type: BD 76097, Rock cleft, Elephant's Head, near Molesworth Station, H. H. Allan 17/11/44, in fl.

Stock often widely branched; lvs more regularly, less coarsely toothed, clad in stellate hairs; infl. branches stellate-pubescent below; siliques c. 5 cm. long.

DIST.: S. Montane to subalpine rocks: Upper Awatere, near Molesworth Station, Allan; Yeo River, Upper Awatere, L. B. Moore.
