Var. macrophylla.

Type locality: Mt. Egmont. Type: K, Dr. Dieffenbach.

Lf-lamina not much longer than wide, us. broadest near base and often cordate, upper surface glab. or slightly hairy near petiole; petioles and peduncles us. with scattered tapering hairs. Calyx us. with ∞ short hairs, often 10 mm. long in fr. Corolla c. 20 mm. long.

DIST.: N. Mt. Egmont, very abundant above bushline.
