Raoulia hectorii var. mollis Buchanan

Var. mollis Buchan. in Kirk Stud. Fl. 1899, 305.

Type locality: Mount St. Bathans. Type: W, Petrie.

Lvs less densely imbricate, cottony at base, broader, softer, 2.5 mm. long, more obtuse. Capitula not > 4 mm. diam.; florets 6-10; achenes glab., pappus-hairs c. 3 mm. long.

DIST.: S. Otago, subalpine rocks: Rock and Pillar Range; Mount St. Bathans; Rough Peaks, Lake Wakatipu; Mount St. Mary, G. Simpson.
