Polysporina simplex (Davies) Vězda

Thallus white to grey or lacking. Apothecia very small, black, epruinose, with thick plicate proper margin often obscuring disc. Ascospores ellipsoid, 3-4 × 1-2 µm.

N: South Auckland, King Country (Pio Pio). S: Canterbury (Weka Pass, Castle Hill), Southland (Clifden). On calcareous rocks, limestone etc.
