Dictyographa Müll.Arg.

DICTYOGRAPHA Müll. Arg., 1893

Thallus crustose, epi- or endophloeodal, ecorticate or with a cortex of periclinal hyphae. Photobiont green, Trentepohlia. Lirellae immersed to sessile, elongate or branched, rarely short and rounded, lips connivent or open, entire or sulcate. Paraphyses netted. Ascospores 8 per ascus, colourless, muriform.

Dictyographa is a genus of c. 5 species of mainly tropical distribution included in the family Opegraphaceae. One species is recorded from New Zealand [Hayward N.Z. J. Bot. 15: 565-584 (1977)].
