Senecio colensoi var. lobulatus Allan

Var. lobulatus Allan var. nov. 

Type: BD 446, Waipukurau, H.H. Allan.

Sparingly branched, stems rather slender, us. not > 40 cm. tall. Lower lvs 4-6×1·5-2.5 cm., narrow-obovate in outline, pinnatifid to pinnatisect, lower surface very densely white-tomentose, upper surface becoming glab. Upper lvs similar, smaller. Pedicels slender; achenes linear, 2 mm. long, hispid to nearly glab.

DIST.: N. Limestone rocks from inland of Waimarama to Pukeora Hill, Pongaroa and Cape Turnagain.
