Arthopyrenia gemellipara

Description : Flora (1985: 15).

N: Known only from the type collections.

Endemic

Arthopyrenia gemellipara is characterised by: the corticolous habit; yellow-brown, glossy or matt, mosiac-forming thallus delimited by a prominent, irregular, black prothallus; frequent, scattered, rounded to oval or irregular, hemispherical, black perithecia, often clustered; 1-septate ascospores, constricted at septum, 15–18 × 6–7 μm.
