Rinodina immersa (Körb.) Arnold

R. bischoffii var. immersa Körber, Parerg. lich.: 75 (1859).

Thallus endolithic or evanescent, whitish or pale grey, saxicolous. Apothecia biatorine to lecideine, immersed in substrate, dispersed, to 1 mm diam., disc brown becoming black, plane becoming convex. Hymenium 90-110 µm tall. Epihymenium dark brown. Hypothecium colourless. Ascospores of Bischoffii - type, 15-20 × 9-13 µm. Chemistry: -
