Dictyonema is a genus of basidiolichens included in the family Atheliaceae (Kirk et al. 2001). Currently 10 species and several infraspecific taxa are recognised (Parmasto 1978; Chaves et al. 2004), occurring mainly in the tropics. Two species are known from New Zealand.
