Hemigrapha nephromatis
Description : Lichenicolous. Ascomata rounded to substellate, up to 0.5 mm diam. Hymenium up to 45 μm tall. Paraphysoids (2–) 2.5–4(–5.5) μm wide, swollen between septa, apically brownish, covered with granules, distinctly thickened, (3.5–)4–6.5 μm wide. Asci (2–)4-spored, broadly clavate to subglobose, 22–37 × 15– 22 μm. Ascospores 1-septate, constricted at septum, hyaline at first becoming brownish (15.5–)16–21.5(–24.5) × (7–)7.5–8.5(–9.5) μm. Conidiomata unknown.

* Hemigrapha nephromatis is distinguished from all other species parasitic or commensalistic on members of the Peltigerales by: the much larger asci (2–)4-spored; and larger ascospores, (15.5–)16–21.5(–24.5) × (7–)7.5–8.5(–9.5) μm. It occurs on Nephroma australe.
