Type : Cystocoleus ebeneus (Dillwyn) Thwaites [=Conferva ebenea Dillwyn]

Description : Flora (1985: 149).

Cystocoleus is a monospecific genus in the Anamorphic Ascomycota (Kirk et al. 2001; Eriksson et al. 2004; Pennycook & Galloway 2004; Eriksson 2005). It is discussed in Santesson (1952: 404).
