Luzula leptophylla Buchenau & Petrie

L. leptophylla Buchenau et Petrie Österr. Bot. Z. 48, 1898, 214, t. 7, f. 7-12.

Very slender stoloniferous grass-like, 4-8- (12) cm high. Leaves < 0.5 mm wide. Inflorescence usually a single 4-6-flowered head. Flowers < 2 mm long; tepals dark brown at centre with broad silver margins. Stamens 3, occasionally 6.

N., S. Local in mountains; in damp places.
