Tremotylium occultum

Description : Flora (1985: 586).

N: Wellington. Known only from the type collection.

Endemic

Tremotylium occultum is characterised by: the corticolous habit; the immersed or depressed, urceolate, brown plane to subconcave apothecia that are oblong to elongate or radiate, and hidden by a thick cerebriform thalline margin; and large, brown, muriform ascospores, 60–80 × 30–32 μm.
