Corolla orange or orange-red, often purple at base; margin entire or slightly crenulate.

N.; S.; St.; K., Ch., C.: coastal and lowland areas throughout.

Europe, Asia Minor 1838

Common to abundant in cultivated land, waste places and most other open disturbed sites, especially stony and sandy areas, depleted and open pastures, coastal cliffs, dry river beds.
