Cardiocrinum giganteum

ζCardiocrinum giganteum (Wall.) Makino

ζCardiocrinum giganteum (Wall.) Makino ζup to 2-4 m high with a rosette of large cordate basal leaves, is seminaturalised at Kowai Bush, Canterbury, and on Mr Douglas' property at Wainakarua River Gorge, E. Otago - B. H. Macmillan 72/948, 28.5.1972 (CHR 234082). It has been once collected growing wild near the site of a disused rubbish dump at Upper Hutt, 1978 (CHR 280987). (Himalayas)
