ζselaginella sp.

ζ*Selaginella sp.

ζ*Selaginella sp. ζ* An unidentified sp. has been collected once, probably as an escape from cultivation, at Whangarei Falls, N. Auckland. It is similar to S. kraussiana but differs in having a suberect growth form, with the ends of the branches upturned, lvs that decrease slightly in size towards the branch apices, and strobili up to 15 mm long that are mostly terminal, with the sporophylls only slightly smaller than the nearest microphylls. (Origin unknown, 1985).
