Callitris oblonga

ζ*C. oblonga A. Rich. et Rich. ζ* has been collected wild, a single tree growing amongst gorse (CHR 118157, near Koromiko, Marlborough, Healy, 9.4.1947). A second collection, from Nelson, may represent this sp. A tree, easily distinguished from C. rhomboidea by the ovoid to oblong cone with elliptic scales bearing a mucronate boss close to the apex outside. (Tasmania, N.S.W., 1988).
