Polystichum lentum
ζ*P. lentum (D. Don) T. Moore ζ*has been collected only once, as an escape from cultivation, on clay banks near Onerahi, Whangarei (N. Auckland). It is similar to P. proliferum in usually having 1-2 bulbils near the apices of the rachises, but differs in that the basal primary pinnae are less deeply divided, never bearing more than one stalked acroscopic secondary pinna (Fig. 5).
