Polystichum lentum
ζ*P. lentum (D. Don) T. Moore ζ*has been collected only once, as an escape from cultivation, on clay banks near Onerahi, Whangarei (N. Auckland). It is similar to P. proliferum in usually having 1-2 bulbils near the apices of the rachises, but differs in that the basal primary pinnae are less deeply divided, never bearing more than one stalked acroscopic secondary pinna (Fig. 5). (Himalayas, 1981).
