N: Wellington. Known only from the type collection, where it is associated with Porina exocha.

Xylographa perangusta is characterised by: the corticolous habit; the olive-green to greyish, areolate thallus on smooth bark; innate, brownish black to black, round, oblong to rarely stellate apothecia; 8–10-spored asci; and small, spherical ascospores, 2 μm diam.
