Thelidium neozelandicum

Lectotype: New Zealand. Southland, Clifden, on limestone, J.S. Thomson T2281 [A17] – CHR 375643 [fide Galloway (1985a: 571)]. Isolectotype – OTA 029039.

S: Southland (Clifden, Castle Rock).

Endemic

Thelidium neozelandicum is characterised by: the saxicolous (limestone) habit; the dingy grey-green to whitish thallus; solitary to 1–3-confluent, black perithecia, 0.6–0.9 mm diam.; and oval-ellipsoidal, 3-septate ascospores, 30–44.5 × 14–15 μm.
