ISACHNEAE

Infloresence terminal, a panicle, or composed of racemes. Spikelets 2-flowered, disarticulating at maturity above glumes, solitary, all similar. Glumes membranous, ≤ spikelets. Lower floret usually ⚥ or sometimes ♂, upper floret ⚥ or ♀. Lemmas membranous to coriaceous.
