Cestrum fasciculatum (Schltdl.) Miers

Corolla rosy purple; lobes narrow-triangular, 4-6 mm long. Fr. purple, shining, 7-8 mm diam.

N.: Te Karaka and Whatatutu (Waikohu County, Poverty Bay).

Mexico 1988

Large colonies in scrub and secondary forest on 3 hillsides, probably eradicated now.

Poisonous (Connor 1977).
