Centrolepis pallida (Hook.f.) Cheeseman

C. pallida (Hook. f.) Cheesem. Man. N.Z. Fl. 1906, 757.

Dense, pale or bright green, moss-like perennial cushions. Leaves to 9 mm long, distichous, closely imbricate, stiff, glabrous. Flowering stems c. = leaves. Glume-like bracts each enclosing 1 or 0 pseudanthia.

N. Volcanic Plateau; Raukumara and Ruahine Ranges. S. South Westland - Red Hills; Otago - Mt Kyeburn, Mt Maungatua, Blue Mts; Fiordland. A., C. Mountain bogs.
