Pisonia brunoniana
ζPisonia brunoniana Endl. ζ, parapara or bird catcher tree, notable for its extremely viscid frs, is indigenous. Allan (1961) described this under Heimerliodendron Skottsb. The characters separating this genus from the widespread, larger, mainly tropical genus Pisonia L. are not consistently diagnostic.
