Glabrous biennial. Stems branched above, 50-80-(100) cm tall. Rosette lvs lyrate-pinnate or simple, (5)-15-20 × (2)-5-7 cm; terminal lobe ovate; lateral lobes in 0-2 pairs, < width of terminal lobe; margins sinuate. Upper stem lvs becoming simple, with deflexed lobes at base, ovate to rhomboid, coarsely bluntly toothed. Racemes to 30 cm tall; pedicels ascending, up to 5 mm long. Sepals with a few to many tangled hairs near apex, 2-3 × 0.5-0.7 mm. Petals 3-4 × 0.5-1 mm. Silique erect, 25-35 × 1-1.5 mm; style 1-1.5 mm long.
