Kickxia spuria
ζ*K. spuria (L.) Dumort. ζ*, fluellen, has been collected wild at Hastings and has also been reported from Palmerston North as a garden weed. It has a similar habit to K. elatine, but has all its lvs rounded, with the base usually cordate and not hastate, as well as very pilose pedicels and the pale yellow and purple corolla has a ± curved spur. (Europe, 1981).
