Solanum furcatum
ζ*S. furcatum Dunal ζ* is related to S. nigrum and is probably represented by one specimen (CHR 201167, north of Hapuku Bridge, near Kaikoura, Marlborough, Sykes, 21.3.1970). The plant was growing in shingle behind a beach and had a straggling habit, a forked infl., larger fls than those of S. nigrum, and prominent stone cells in the fr., all of which are features of S. furcatum. (S. America, 1988).
