Degelia durietzii
Holotype: New Zealand. Canterbury, Nina Valley, on Nothofagus solandri var. cliffortioides, 1979, D.J. Galloway – CHR 343110. Isotypes – BM, UPS.
Description : Flora (1985: 151–152).
Chemistry : TLC−, all reactions negative.
N: Taranaki (Mt Taranaki), Wellington (E. of Taumaranui, Erua Swamp, Mt Marchant, Mt Alpha, Mt Holdsworth Tararua Ra.). S: Nelson (Lake Rotoiti), Westland (Lake Kaniere), Canterbury (Nina Valley near Lewis Pass, Wilberforce Valley, Governor's Bush, Mt Cook). A: (Port Ross, Erebus Cove, Laurie Harbour). Rather restricted in distribution with an altidudinal range of 100–1500 m. Known also from Tasmania and Fiji (Jørgensen & James 1990: 269; Jørgensen & Galloway 1992b: 249; McCarthy 2003c, 2006).

Degelia durietzii is characterised by: the isidiate lobes; and the isidiate margins to the apothecia when present.
