ζs. holostea

ζ*S. holostea L.

ζ*S. holostea L. ζ* differs from S. graminea in its larger stature, lvs 3-8 cm long, densely ciliolate lf-margins, hairy pedicels, obscurely veined sepals c. 7 mm long, and petals twice as long as sepals. It was collected near Christchurch and listed from Ashburton between 1870 and 1900 but has not been collected wild since. (Europe, Caucasia, Iran, 1872).
