Geranium sessiliflorum var. glabrum Knuth
Stock well-developed, often multicipital; petioles ± 5 mm. long, slender, sparsely to rather densely clad in appressed to rather spreading retrorse hairs. Lamina 10-20 mm. diam., 5-(7)-lobed to 3/4 way, again subacutely to obtusely toothed. Fls white, on peduncles up to 5 cm. long; calyx clad in long spreading hairs; carpels with appressed hairs to glabrate.
DIST.: N., S., St. Lowland to lower montane grassland from lat. 37° southwards.
FL.- FT. 12-4. Also Australia, Tasmania. Much the most common var. There are two very distinct forms: (a) lvs dark green; (b) lvs bronze. The two often grow together, and then intermediate colours occur.
