Receptacle flat, alveolate, ciliate; scales 0. Outer florets ligulate, ♀. Disc florets ⚥ or the inner ♂. Achenes obovoid to obconic, with 2 furrows on the dorsal side. Pappus of 2 rows of oblong scarious scales, the outer very short, the inner longer.
