Anthemis tinctoria
ζ*A. tinctoria L. ζ*, yellow chamomile, is an escape from cultivation which has been collected twice but has apparently not become fully naturalised: on sand at Caroline Bay (Timaru), and on a roadside near Queenstown. A sparsely to densely lanate, erect to ascending perennial up to c. 60-100 cm tall; capitula 25-45 mm diam.; ligules yellow; receptacle scales oblong, acuminate; achenes flattened, ribbed.
