Var. albiflorum

Var. albiflorum Cheesem. in T.N.Z.I. 52, 1920, 11 (as albiflora).

Type: A, 7601, Pukekohe, Townson.

A more slender plant with pale green, thinner, more delicate lvs; veins pale green or yellowish green. Fls white.

DIST.: N., S. Poor Knights, Auckland Province, common; occ. further south; Kaikoura, E. J. Godley, Mar. 1957, OM 003956.

Cheeseman (loc. cit.) gives details of populations observed by W. Townson near Pukekohe and by J. Graham near Waiuku railway. Plants came true from seed.
