ζp. norvegica
ζ*P. norvegica L. ζ*, Norwegian cinquefoil, is known from one collection from C. North Id (CHR 18167, Raetihi, Attwood, 20.4.1937). An erect annual or short-lived perennial up to c. 50 cm tall, sparsely to densely clothed in long simple hairs and sparsely glandular; cauline lvs palmately 3-(5)-foliolate, reduced upwards and finally apetiolate; leaflets narrowly obovate-elliptic, with 5-8 or more pairs of teeth on terminal leaflet; infl. many-flowered, cymose; fls 5-merous; style conic; achenes c. 1 mm long, not winged. This sp. has been previously recorded in N.Z. as P. monspeliensis. (Europe to C. and N. Asia, 1940).
