Erigeron philadelphicus

ζ*E. philadelphicus L. ζ* has been collected only once, a cultivation escape on waste land in Hamilton (CHR 67931, Sutherland, Nov. 1946). An erect biennial or short-lived perennial herb; basal lvs persistent at flowering; lower cauline lvs serrate; upper cauline lvs few, amplexicaul; ligules filiform, purplish; pappus of ray and disc achenes of 1 row of long hairs. (N. America, 1988).
