Arthopyrenia minutella

Description : Flora (1985: 16).
N: S: Throughout, coastal, on twigs of smooth-barked trees and shrubs, especially of Weinmannia.

Arthopyrenia minutella is characterised by: the corticolous habit; the thin, greyish, indeterminate thallus; the minute, scattered, black, globose, pin-prick-like perithecia (leaving a minute pit); and elongate-ellipsoidal, 1-septate ascospores, 15–17 × 2–3 μm.
