Papaver somniferum subsp. setigerum (DC.) Corb.

Stems rarely taller than 60 cm. Lvs sharply dentate; teeth often tipped with a spiny hair; midrib setulose beneath. Capsule obovoid, (10)-15-20 × (5)-10-15 mm; stigma rays 5-8-(10).
