CTENITIS Christensen, 1938

Sori dorsal on veins; indusium round-reniform, sts absent, sporangia stalked; annulus incomplete, vertical. Spores bilateral, echinulate. Rhizome short, erect, or creeping, paleate; stipes paleate. Lamina bipinnate to decompound, catadromic; hairs pluricellular, constricted between cells. Terrestrial ferns of about 150 widely distributed spp.
