Var. minimum

Var. minimum (Kirk) Ckn. Rep. Bot. Surv. St. Id 1909, 43.

E. pedunculare var. minimum Kirk Stud. Fl. 1899, 174.

Stems 12-25 mm. long; lvs ± 2.5 mm. diam., orbicular-ovate, coriac., rugose, sessile or nearly so. Capsule 6·5-9 mm. long, glab., fusiform, deeply grooved, exceeding peduncle.

DIST.: Kirk had collected specimens from Preservation Inlet and Bluff Hill. Other records are: Lawyer's Head, Dunedin, G. Simpson; Stewart Id, L. Cockayne.
