Vittadinia dissecta
ζ*V. dissecta (Benth.) N. Burb. ζ* is known from only a few early collections from coastal Nelson between Mackays Bluff and D'Urville Id. A short-lived, strigose, perennial herb; lower and mid cauline lvs distinctly petiolate, deeply 3-lobed with lobes often again toothed, up to 25 mm long; uppermost lvs less dissected; involucral bracts glandular and with few strigose hairs. Achenes glandular, with hairy ribbed margins and faces. N.Z. material can be referred to var. dissecta. It has previously been recorded in N.Z. as V. australis var. dissecta, and V. triloba. (E. Australia, 1880).
