Vittadinia muelleri
ζ*V. muelleri N. Burb. ζ* is known only from early collections by Petrie from Taieri Plain, Otago. A perennial herb or subshrub; stems with sparse spreading to antrorse hairs; mid cauline lvs narrow-oblanceolate, usually with 1-2-(4) pairs of remote lobes, sometimes entire with sparse hairs mostly confined to margins and midrib below, up to 3-(6) cm long; involucral bracts glabrous except for minute glandular hairs. Achenes glandular, with glabrous ribbed margins (except at apex and base) and hairy ribbed faces. This sp. has previously been recorded in N.Z. as V. australis var. linearis. (E. Australia, Tasmania, 1899).
