Dorotheanthus bellidiformis
ζ*Dorotheanthus bellidiformis (Burm. f.) N. E. Br. ζ*, Livingston daisy, has been collected twice only, from Ohawe Beach, Taranaki and Middleton Marshalling Yards, Christchurch. It is a casual garden escape or discard and not established at either locality. Annual; lvs with glittering papillae, flat, obovate to oblong, cuneate at base. Fls (3)-4 cm diam., solitary. Sepals 5, unequal, papillate. Petals any colour except blue. Capsule 5-locular; expanding keels diverging, broadly triangular, winged; locule lids present. Seeds smooth. (South Africa, 1968).
