Helichrysum cymosum

ζ*H. cymosum (L.) D. Don

ζ*H. cymosum (L.) D. Don ζ* is known only from the early original gatherings by Townson from railway embankments near Westport. A spreading subshrub; lvs apetiolate, tomentose on lower surface, with thin greyish covering on upper surface, c. 5-15 mm long. Capitula c. 3 × 1 mm, with pale gold transparent bracts, numerous in dense rounded terminal compound cymes; receptacle with small scales. (South Africa, 1906).
