Petals 5, white, irregularly toothed; coronal scales 0. Stamens 3-10. Styles 3-(5). Fr. a narrow-ovoid to cylindric capsule, dehiscing by twice as many teeth as the styles, sessile. Seeds many, flattened, papillate, stalked on 1 face, not winged.
