The Colenso specimen at K has the large lvs mentioned in the original description ("lamina 6 inches long"). Colenso material at W filed with a label in Cheeseman's hand "Ourisia macrophylla Hook. Hawke's Bay uplands, H. Hill. Type of O. robusta Col." includes one flowering and one very old fruiting infl. and a tuft of young lvs, matching the description except that lvs do not exceed 9 cm. in length. W 4168, Herb. Petrie "O. macrophylla Hook. Western Hawke's Bay, H. Hill" could well be part of the same gathering.
