Euphorbia serpens
ζ*E. serpens Kunth ζ* is known only from Kirk's original gathering from ballast in Wellington. A procumbent annual similar to E. maculata but differing as follows: glabrous throughout; lvs entire; stipules united into a membranous scale; cyathia solitary at nodes; seeds smooth. It was first recorded for N.Z. as E. ovalifolia. (N., C. and S. America, 1896).
