Var. majus Allan var. nov.

Type locality: Little Barrier Id. Type: BD 4145.

Lvs with elliptic to obovate laminae 2-5 × 2-3 cm., on petioles c. 1 cm. long; glomerules corymbosely arranged on longer pedicels.

DIST.: North Auckland Peninsula, Little Barrier Id, Coromandel Peninsula.

Juvenile lvs are sts 4 cm. long, with narrow acute and toothed laminae and long flattened petioles.
