Raoulia tenuicaulis var. dimorpha Allan

Var. dimorpha Allan var. nov. 

Type locality: Oroua River near Feilding. Type: BD 33632, A. J. Healy.

Lvs dimorphic: (a) c. 4 × 2 mm., broadly obovate-cuneate, obtuse, often apiculate, clad on both surfaces in dense appressed white tomentum; (b) on lower parts of branchlets, c. 2 mm. long, linear, acute, tomentum thin. Transitional lvs also occur. Inner phyll. with pale tips.

DIST.: N., S. Montane to subalpine riverbeds and open ground: Mount Hikurangi, East Cape, c. 500 m., L. B. Moore; Oroua River, near Feilding, A. J. Healy; Mount Tapuaenuku, c. 1500 m., G. Simpson; Punch Bowl Creek, Arthur Pass, V. D. Zotov.
